Email Campaign
When you are emailing local councillors or officers of the councils, or the school, it is a good idea to copy in:
- Nigel Huddleston, MP at nigel.huddleston.mp@parliament.uk
- Mr Steve Butcher, Chairman of the Governors, Prince Henry's High School. He can be contacted via Miss Chloe Emms, Governance Professional at:
governanceprofessional@princehenrys.worcs.sch.uk - WDC Councillors Mary Tasker at mary.tasker@wychavon.net and Charlie Homer at charlie.homer@wychavon.net
- WCC Councillor Santinder Bell at mailto:sbell3@worcestershire.gov.uk
PLEASE copy info@greenhillresidents.org.uk into any emails you send so we have a central record of all emails sent to councillors, the school etc.
ELECTED OFFICIALS
Evesham Town Council
The Town Council has no power over planning decisions as these are taken by Wychavon, but it is a good idea to gather as much support from them as we can and also let them know where we stand on the proposed expansion of the Henrician and how a town centre arts facility would benefit the town much more than a 'destination' venue at Prince Henry's School.
The next elections for Evesham Town Council will be in May 2027, possibly worth mentioning!
Mayor: John Clatworthy

Mayoress: Marion Griffiths

Town Clerk: Jo Adams

Councillor Patrick Boyd is on the Evesham Town Council Planning and Estates Committee:

Wychavon District Council
Wychavon is by far the most important target of an email campaign to local elected officials. The decision to reject or accept the planning application from Prince Henry's (if and when it is submitted) is ultimately theirs (after advice from Worcestershire County Council regarding traffic etc), so this is where the focus of this particular branch of our activity should be.
Email Wychavon District Councillors responsible for Evesham:
Charlie Homer (Evesham North) charlie.homer@wychavon.net
Peter Knight (Evesham South) peter.knight@wychavon.net
Mary Tasker (Evesham North) mary.tasker@wychavon.net
Mark Goodge is the Chairman of Wychavon District Council mark.goodge@wychavon.net
Emma Kearsey is the Deputy Leader of the Council, Portfolio Holder for Planning, Infrastructure and Urban Design emma.kearsey@wychavon.net
A full list of Wychavon Councillors is here
Wychavon District Council Planning Committee members:
Councillor Rob Adams, Councillor Daniel Birch, Councillor John Clatworthy, Councillor Nick Dawkes (Vice-Chairman), Councillor Andrew Dyke (Vice-Chairman), Councillor Adrian Hardman, Councillor Emma Kearsey, Councillor Nicola Morris, Councillor Linda Robinson, Councillor Hannah Robson, Councillor Margaret Rowley, Councillor Emma Sims, Councillor Charles Tucker, Councillor Mark Ward and Councillor Nicolas Wright (Chairman)
A list of their email addresses you can copy and paste into your email 'to' field (just delete any you don't want to include!) is here:
aihardman@worcestershire.gov.uk;
Vic Allison is the Chief Executive of Wychavon District Council
E-Mail: vic.allison@wychavon.gov.uk
Worcestershire County Council
WCC is the body which controls traffic and highways - an important and integral part of our argument for improving the current situation and rejecting the proposed plans for the Henrician.
Email Worcestershire County Councillors whose constituencies are in and around Evesham using these links:
Satinder Bell (Harvington) at sbell3@worcestershire.gov.uk
Sam Bastow (Evesham North) at sbastow@worcestershire.gov.uk
Michele Hulme (Evesham South) at mhulme@worcestershire.gov.uk
Traffic concerns in Evesham are addressed at County level. They have said in email replies that they have only had a small number of complaints about the traffic along our roads. Let's change that!
Barry Barnes is a Divisional Highways Manager or representative within the Worcestershire County Council Highways Department. He has been involved in local parish council meetings regarding highway issues. You can contact him and his team using the online form here.
Email Worcestershire County Council Head of Traffic Management and Network Control, Sarah Gilmour.
sgilmour@worcestershire.gov.uk
It is difficult to find any information about her role on WCC website, so read about her and her role on her LinkedIn page here.

There is no active Parents' Association, it having been removed from the Charities Commission records in 2008.
This is on it's own quite extraordinary and may be an added signifier of the lack of two-way dialogue - not only with Greenhill Residents, but with parents and carers.
