Raise awareness, email the right people

In this section of the website you'll find lots of resources to help you join the campaign.

Follow the links at the bottom of this page.

PLEASE copy info@greenhillresidents.org.uk into any emails you send so we have a central record of all emails sent to councillors, the school etc.

There is so much you can do to join the campaign! It doesn't matter if you have 10 minutes or 10 hours to spare - your involvement is really important!

You can:

  • email your town, district or county councillor

  • email Wychavon District Council Planning Committee members

  • email our MP, Nigel Huddleston

  • email the board of Governors at Prince Henry's High School

  • email Worcestershire County Council Highways and Traffic Department about your concerns about the current level of traffic, and the impact of the expansion to 1000 seats in the theatre

  • write to the local press about your concerns - they may print it in 'Letters to the Editor'

  • email the emergency services outlining your concerns about access in the case of fire etc

  • email the police authorities outlining your concerns about road safety

More things you can do

  • Enlist the support of any community groups you may be part of - theatre groups who will be priced out of performing at the Henrician

  • Print out a poster with this campaign's title on it - 'Residents Say NO to Henrician expansion!' or similar

  • Volunteer to do a traffic survey on the days that Worcestershire County Council trial the one-way traffic system

  • Talk to local businesses in the town centre asking for their support  and if they would like to start their own petition for a town centre arts centre

  • Stand on Victoria Avenue, holding a placard and engage with parents etc letting them know why we are against the expansion

There are lots of ways you can make your voice heard! And sometimes, the more imaginative they are, the better!
